I went to the movies last night, for the first time in months. My girlfriend, Marianne, and I were looking for a fun movie to watch. Since I have always enjoyed Robin Williams, I suggested Man of the Year. She wanted to see a different movie, but she let me choose... this one time!

I enjoyed the movie, but I struggled at first with all of the overly political statements the movie was making. I definately felt that even though the movie was attempting to poke at the political process, it still tended to side with one side of the political aisle.

I also expected the movie to be a comedy, but it was actually a drama and intrigue, with a few surprises that can make you jump out of your seat. Of course it had funny lines, but that wasn't the heart of the movie.
