I took my kids, and my nephew to see the "Bee Movie" last Saturday.

The movie was definitely a kids movie. The first half of the movie was enjoyable, and fun when the main bee, Barry B. Benson, voiced by Jerry Seinfeld was going through the hive and getting ready to start his "career".

However, when the story changed and the bee was suing the human population for eating honey, it wasn't fun any longer. The message the movie sends to kids is that if it wasn't for bees the world would starve because none of the plants would be pollinated, and they would dry up and wither away. Is this true? I don't know... I know bees do pollinate plants, but would it be a world wide catastrophe?

If you go to the movie, go with the expectation that it doesn't have the great story that other computer animated movies do such as Toy Story or Shrek. And the honey on the toast is that you get to hear Jerry Seinfeld's annoying, whiny type, voice the entire flick.
