Joshua, has really gotten the "writing bug" and I have given him a platform to express himself. However, he writes so often that I can't keep up with him, so I have setup a "Blog" for him to publish to anytime he wants without my involvement.  The Blog is now hosted on a Josh's own website.  You can get to it by clicking this button:

 The Reality of the Situation

Also I have left his previous works, that we have published before the Blog listed below.  Feel free to browse, and by all means, let him know what you think by Emailing him at josh@laughlinsinpa.com or me at lou@laughlinsinpa.com

A Little Deeper

Here are Joshua's previous works:

  •  The Reason
    • This is his first poem.  It was inspired by a song by R. Kelly.

  • It's Not Over
    • He doesn't remember why or what he was doing when he originally wrote it in October.

  • Away from Reality
    • It may seem a bit odd, but it makes sense to him.

  • Alone
    • Josh had a bad day at school and no one was talking to him, so this reflects on that feeling.

  • My Prison
    • He wrote this poem after a fight with his sisters (yeah, he has a lot of them), to vent some steam.

  • Suffering's End
    • He doesn't know what to say about this one... I will work with him in the future to write down, or remember why he wrote these.

  • Once Again
    • Another bad day, he felt like he was alone again.  Am I beginning to see a pattern?  I guess there are worse ways to express teenage angst.

  • Rain
    • This one was written "just because he felt like writing".  I wonder... Was it raining at the time?  (Ok he said it wasn't.)
  • A Light
    • This is a poem he wrote for a homework assignment in his College Prep English class

  • Glimmer In The Dark
    • Josh said he "felt the urge to write," and he "had nothing else to do for half an hour."

  • The Cure
    • He thought up a small part, and decided to go with it to make an entire poem.

He has written others, but doesn't feel they are worthy of publishing.
Check his Blog for more.

I hope you enjoy them.
