Lifeless Darkness

Hatred has muffled
this once great song
life is now failing
now too much is wrong
mistakes are a plenty
nothing left in light
darkness engulfing
and stopping all sight

Breaking of thoughts
all left confused
bump in the night
leaving minds bruised
no longer a daytime
only this long night
a night filled with terror
and unstoppable fright

Rattling destinies
destroying all fate
separation a must
because of this hate
tears falling quickly
emotions unclear
all love destroyed
by this great fear

No longer is there life
in this terrible place
destruction everywhere
staring it in the face
this darkness inside all
and outside all too
has cast aside happiness
and made life untrue
