Homework's Due
Wow, this summer went fast.
Camp was fun, and I met a bunch of new people. I had a few new experiences, like a nail in my foot. But all in all, it felt way too much like a dream. Tell you what, though, coming home was a big wake up on reality. I was thrown right back into the real world.
I had forgotten how much goes on in one week. Which is about how long I've been home. At least at camp, there weren't many surprises, which is what I like, and what I grew used to, but here at home, there's something new going on all the time. It's hard to keep up, when I'm used to traveling at such a slow and generally smooth pace. I've been home just a little over a week, and it feels like I've been home for a month or two.
To top it all off, I still have to read one more book. I'm reading Stephen King's Novel "The Gunslinger," and it's fantastic. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble finding time to read it. Between the mass hysteria at my mother's house and the few things I need to do, such as chores and check my email, at my father's house, I haven't really been able to get very far.
I'm also hopefully getting a new job. I put in an application, went to an interview, and this Monday I have to go to a training session. I'm hoping that the training will go alright, and that I can start working as early as next weekend (the first weekend in September).
I also figured out how to fix my blog so that my friend Fran's blog can be viewed from a link on the side of my blog. I had to figure it out by myself, because my father fixed the other links to my family's blogs. It took a while, but it looks good, so go check out his blog, he's new and he needs some comments.
Well, that's life after camp. It takes a while, but I'm starting to get used to it again.
Later,
Joshua

Hot Dog Shop in Chippewa is where I will be working.
Tell him yourself. I can't make him do it any more than you can.
