Run

Well, I'm not too sure where this came from. I was sitting around, with a Dream Theator song stuck in my head, and I just started writing. This is what I got from it, and a little bit of editing. I hope everyone likes it, because it's not that great actually.

Run

Run,
(Scream)
Stop Crawling on Your knees.
Get Up and look into (My Eyes)
Run,
(Now!)
Stop dragging Your Feet.
Get moving before Someone else (Dies)
Run,
(the Streets)
Stop Denying You’re Beat.
Get going as Fast as the Bird (flies)
Run,
(Faster!)
Run,
(Faster!)
Run…
and (You’re Mine)

    Everywhere

I'm not quite sure where this came from...except that I was sitting in Mrs. Micija's room, and she has quite a few posters. Her walls are covered with colorful posters. Otherwise, I'm quite sure where it came from. If you understand it, awsome, otherwise, oh well. It's very odd, that's for sure

    Everywhere

    Colors, Colors Everywhere.
some I see return My Stare,
    and these Everywhere Colors speak,
talk My Language, one Word, “Freak!”
“Freak of Nature,” in this place,
    Scream as Everywhere Colors Taste
the Red that’s Fighting Colors Everywhere.
Fading Everywhere Blues and Whites glare
as Red invades and Red destroys.
then Blackness falls, and stops the Noise.

      The Fries, They BURN!

So, last night I started work at the Hot Dog Shoppe, and let me tell you, fries hurt. Not only does the grease burn if the fries miss the basket, but the fries BURNed most when I was trying to put them into packages. That little tool that I had to use to pick up the fries is not as easy to use as I thought it was. The tool I use is like a funnel, except the funnel is flat and open. I scoop the fries into the top, and they're supposed to come slowly out the bottom and into the bowl or bag that I'm putting them into. Unfortunately, it's not that simple. The fries fall out in every direction, because it's not a closed funnel, as I have already said. So, while I'm holding the bowl or the bag that I'm putting fries in, most of the fries are falling off the sides of the funnel and onto my HANDS! Yeah, that hurts. They're REALLY hot fries.

Otherwise, we're working towards our first paper in journalism class starting today. Our first deadline is next friday, a week from tomorrow, but I've finished my two articles already. I'm going to have them checked tomorrow for "substance" and errors, correct them, and hopefully have them in by Monday.

I am officially bogged down with homework this evening, and yet here I am, waisting valuable time on this blasted computer. I got a rediculous assignment today, that should have been due Monday, but of course we're not going to take our time, so it's due tomorrow. The good news is that it's only a one hundred point assignment, so if I screw it up, it's not like I'll be losing a lot of points. You see, that's sarcasm.

Well, that's my life, mostly. Yeah, I know, boring.

      Later,
      Joshua

This is really good to know in case I ever get a job that involves cooking fries. That’s cool that you started your new job I hope you like it. I also hope that it doesn’t interfere with scouts. Maybe you will make some new friends? I know I never did at any of the jobs I’ve done haha.

Also I am really sorry I didn’t mail you that paper for Fall Ceremonial. I ran up to flag plaza during my half hour break in the rain only to find that the only people who were there were the incompetent people who work in the scout shop. Incompetents working for the Boy Scouts, why am I not surprised? Anyways they had no idea what I was talking about and finally one of them told me to check the website. A lot of help they were, it was such a waste of time I was really angry. So I’m sorry but I really tried unfortunately I failed. The form is on the website, so in case you didn’t already find it, check the website. If you don’t know what the website is, its www.Enda57.org

I hope I see you next weekend

      Drawing Short

Well, I actually wrote this the first day of school, during our two hour homeroom period. I forgot about it until now. So, I hope you like it.

      Drawing Short

      the Truths You Speak
      are Far from True
      the Farthest thing
      from Me is You
      Yet Truth is Still

        Catnap

Well, the first week of school is over. I officially got my first bit of homework today. At least it was work assigned to be done outside of class. I finished it at school today, so, in essence, I had no homework.

As I said before, the classes are alright. I enjoy most of my classes, but there are a few that I don't really like. I am really enjoying my journalism and web page design classes, because they're on topics that interest me, and I like the teachers.

So, yesterday during eighth period (web page design class) I all of the sudden got extremely tired. I don't know why. So, I had a meeting for FBLA yesterday, and I was practically sleeping through the meeting, and I'm the vice president. I walked home, thinking that it would help wake me up, but as soon as I got home, I had to lie down. Not long after I lied down I fell asleep, not to wake up for a couple of hours. Now, I'm not one to take naps. In fact, I haven't taken a nap during the day for a long, long time. At least not outside of camp. Yesterday I just needed a nap.

Well, that's about all of my boring life. No, wait! My first day at work is this upcomming Wednesday.

        Later,
        Joshua
