Yey!!

Yep, I had another good weekend, and it's only Saturday.
I felt like I had to post, though, because I was behind Bekah, and that's pretty bad. So here's my post, don't wear it out.
Well, today started off with me dragging my butt out of bed(not something I normally have to do) and going off to scouts to clean the church for this service project thingy that we have to do for the merit badge we're working on. The room in specific that we cleaned is this little old and decrepit room with walls that are falling apart. When we entered the room this morning, it was a distugsting mess. It had two long shelves on the back wall and there were two wires above that holding up some long boards and the American flag, and in the back corner were three little shelves packed to the brim with canvas tents. After spending nearly five hours in that little room, I can confidently say that it now has six small shelves in the back, spreading from both sides of the room, all organized and semi neat. The floor is swept(because three to ten years of dust swept away can really make a difference), and we have found a new place to put all of the awards that the troop has earned over the years.
The transforation is colossal, going from the space to fit only one to two people to being able to fit a lot of people, such as close to ten, to look at all the awards. I myself cannot believe the cleaning efforts put in by the boys of troop 481 today to get not only that room, but a gigantic stove all cleaned in about six hours! I am happy to be with a troop that can get things done, and cannot wait for everyone else to see the changes we have made to that little old room back there.

Testing

If anyone can think of a better title, please let me know, because I'm none too happy about this one...

Testing

Blending,
and bending
my will
now lending
both life
and love
and sending
my best
for your
little test
Now fending
off hate.
new wounds,
not mending
my torn
and broken
face

Testing captures it - I am sure you could just go with test? I thought about pass or fail or other angles around testing.

    Its good though!

New War (for You)

I know this one is strange, so work with me, and read it carefully. It's very mixed up and I'm not sure if you will get exactly what I was trying to say, but oh well.

New War (for You)

Darkening me
insidious rage,
intelligent anger
a new War I’ll wage…

on the pain,
the hate
and my suffering
You can’t relate…

to my mind,
the hidden
the masks
I have forbidden…

My feelings
to show,
new friendships
won’t grow…

with the anger,
the rage,
I’ve locked
on this page…

I’ll end
the rain
and worsen
my pain…

To keep
Your sanity
I’ll lose
my vanity…

Yet I will
always
Choose You

My Mess

As promised, here is the new poem. I worked with it as much as I could, but I couldn't get it to sound any better. It's not the best, but it's all I could make out from what I wanted to say.

My Mess

Life
and Death
and all
the rest
I can’t believe
I made this mess
finding You
will be the test
Failure will bring
me to Death
from all Your pain
I’ll lose my breath
at the sight,
You are my mess,
Your soul
will be left
to watch me
and my death

What a weekend

All I can really say about this weekend is wow.

It was kinda boring, but in a fun way, I mean, i got to spend tons of time, watching horrible movies, with my dad. Plus we got to go and take a bunch of pictures in hookstown on Saturday, even though it was freezing outside, which is amazing because on Friday it was literally above 70 degrees outside.

It snowed this weekend, so I won a bet I made with my dad, he doesn't want to admit it...but he lost, again.

But best of all is how my weekend is ending. My friends are having good weekends, which automatically puts me in a good mood, and I just watched my dad put spongebob sheets on his bed, which is totally fricken hilarious. My sister just gave me a slip for a free small order of McDonald's fries, which are my favorite, so I think I'll be stopping there after school tomorrow.

All around, this has been a pretty good weekend, and I can't wait for another one like it...I should have a new poem on here soon, I have to put some finishing touches on it, then I will be posting it on here. Just thought you'd like to know.

The Weeper

these Woods
only grow Deeper
I cannot
find the Weeper

I hear it
loud and clear
it bestows
a sense of Fear

yet I cannot
find the Weeper
and I long
surpassed the Reaper
taking only Life
and Death apart

and the Weeping
has no place to start
for in these Woods
there is no Heart

But Mine

    Beauty's Disgrace

    Beauty
    Disgrace
    My thoughts
    Misplaced
    on the Beauty
    of Your Face
    but beyond
    lies a trace
    of Intelligence
    and Grace
    far surpassing
    the Beauty
    of Your Face

      Unstoppable

Nevermind, I found a title, I hope it's a good title...tell me if you like the new title.

      There is no
      warning for this
      no way to stop
      the fist
      of fury
      and hate
      consuming all,
      I can’t sedate
      the feelings
      inside my head
      listening to nothing
      but my own dread
      of the anger
      I know inside
      living to kill
      because of the lies.
      now I have nothing,
      nothing at all
      seclusion complete
      time for our fall

      Happy New Year

      Happy New Year everyone.

      It's 2006, so celebrate.

Oh no, that means school is starting back up again.

      Oh well, that's life.

At least the break was nice.

I hope you all had a good holiday.

See you all soon, well, at least I'll be writing more soon.
